Coach Spotlight - Candice D’Arcangeli
A former Division 1 athlete at North Dakota State University, Candice has spent the majority of her life around the sport of soccer. As a midfielder and forward at NDSU, Candice helped lead the Bisons to the NCAA tournament her senior year. Candice started coaching youth soccer while she was playing at NDSU and has been honing her trade for 14 years. Candice has been with Maplebrook the last 3 years and currently coaches our 2005 Maplebrook Girls Premier team. Her philosophy as a coach is to not only help players reach their full potential on the field but also off the field. Candice says, “The game of soccer has the ability to instill life skills in players that they can take with them beyond soccer and help them succeed wherever they go in life.” Her favorite team is the US Women’s National Team and when she is not coaching, she likes to stay active with her family and friends with activities like axe throwing, golfing, traveling & camping.

NEW CLUB PARTNERSHIPS!
Soccer Shots
We are excited to announce a new partnership between Soccer Shots and our St. Paul Eclipse program, as we launch our St. Paul MiNi Eclipse Recreational Soccer Academy. Soccer Shots is a nationally recognized youth soccer program that offers fun and engaging introductory soccer training for young kids. Beginning in April, we will be working congruently with Soccer Shots to offer soccer programing for kids aged 2 to 9 years old. We are looking forward to many years of success as we launch our St. Paul MiNi Eclipse Academy for our membership in the St. Paul Community
Osseo Schools Community Education and Youth Enrichment Programs – We are excited to announce a new partnership with the Osseo School District. Maple Grove families will now have the option to participate in after school soccer programming at a couple of the local Maple Grove Elementary schools.
Oak View Elementary – Tuesdays, April 6, 13, 20, 27 4:10-5:10pm
Edinbrook Elementary – Thursdays, April 8, 15, 22, 29 3:30-4:30pm
Summer Camps and Clinics
Summer is almost here and we can’t wait to see all our players at one or more of our fantastic Maplebrook MN Eclipse summer camps and clinics. We kick-off the summer with our Annual Maplebrook Summer Soccer Camp June 14-18 at the state-of-the-art Fernbrook Athletic Fields. After that, we are offering an incredible variety of new summer programming, including the Boys 4D Next Level Camp, run by our Executive Director, Youssef Darbaki, our Girls Academy College ID Camp and the Maplebrook Blast Shooting Stars Camp for all of our future soccer stars (5-12 yrs old).
No matter your age or skill level, we have a camp for you this summer! Invite friends from other clubs and have fun this summer while you improve and work on your soccer skills with our highly trained, professional Maplebrook MN Eclipse coaching staff.

Tryouts
We’ve launched our tryout registration for Maplebrook, MN Eclipse and St. Paul Eclipse!
Fernbrook Athletic Fields & Maple Grove Dome
The home fields for our club, Maplebrook MN Eclipse, are contracted with the City of Maple Grove through the year 2027 for the Maple Grove Dome and the year 2035 for Fernbrook Athletic Fields. We are thrilled to be able to train and play all our home league games in Maple Grove on the state-of-the-art turf complex.
MYSA State Cup and Presidents Cup
In addition to league play, we are honored to be hosting the MYSA State Cup and Presidents Cup in Maple Grove this Spring. State Cup and Presidents Cup will run for 4 weeks in April and May and we can’t wait to be at the center of Minnesota Youth Soccer this Spring!
